This beautiful, traditional, and unique clock marks the beginning of cuckoo clocks more than 170 years ago. In 1850, the first Bahnhausle Clock won a competition of clock manufacturers in the Black Forest.
The first model did not include a cuckoo, but it started the tradition of the cuckoo clock. Today, the cuckoo calls every half-hour and on the hour. Craftsmen carve the cuckoo bird by hand, and they also create the dial and numerals from wood. At night, you can easily turn off the cuckoo call.

There are always 2 boxes: Inner Box with foam which is adjusted to every cuckoo clock and an outer box. This way we make sure no cuckoo clock will be damaged through shipping.
